The team and I had the pleasure of filming an elevated podcast on location. We used the cross key method to light the set and leaned into the natural light coming into the space. Using a ATEM Mini Extreme ISO, I was able to live switch the podcast and record the program edit on to an SSD drive. This makes for a fast post production turnaround. In this episode of Production Van Vlogs, I'm stepping into a different role on set. We use the Godox Lighting App for Bluetooth control of our lights as well as Cine Temp to dial in our exposure and white balance. Lighting does not have to be complex or expensive.
